Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa yesterday paid an inspection visit to a BDF unit.
He emphasised that the BDF, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, aims to enhance its combat and administrative readiness, develop its defence systems and update its training programmes in line with the latest modern military concepts and technologies.
The BDF chief emphasised that the force remains committed to defending the kingdom and contributing to its achievements regionally and internationally through the dedication of its members.
