His Majesty King Hamad yesterday met UAE President Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at His Majesty’s residence in Abu Dhabi as part of his visit to the UAE.
The King and the UAE President held cordial discussions that reflected deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and the UAE, as well as the strong ties uniting their peoples.
Discussions focused on the close co-operation and joint work between the two countries, as well as means to further advance relations in support of their shared interests and aspirations for continued progress, development and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and National Security Adviser Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
From the UAE side, the meeting was attended by Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs Deputy Chairman Shaikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Presidential Court for Special Affairs Deputy Chairman Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan along with senior officials from both countries.
