HIS Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) board of trustees chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa honoured outstanding scholars at a ceremony yesterday.
He honoured 653 students from various educational stages who achieved a grade of 95 per cent or above during the 2024/2025 academic year, in addition to 26 graduates who received bachelor’s degrees through RHF scholarships.
Education Minister Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education; RHF board of trustees deputy chairmen Shaikh Adnan Al Qattan and Dr Mustafa Al Sayed as well as secretary general Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa were present.
Shaikh Nasser highlighted that the care provided by His Majesty King Hamad, RHF honorary president, for the foundation’s beneficiaries.

This care helps raise their intellectual and educational standards, reflecting His Majesty’s commitment to broadening knowledge, strengthening students’ ability to support national progress and creating an encouraging learning environment for youth.
He commended the support the RHF receives from the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, through various plans, programmes and ongoing support for students.
Shaikh Nasser highlighted that outstanding students are the nation’s foundation and key to its progress.

A young scholar’s day of pride
He expressed pride in their ability to lead the future and continue developing the country with skill and dedication.
Shaikh Nasser that the achievements and academic success of students from the RHF reflect their strong determination and excellence, and he congratulated them on their well-deserved success.
He also commended the Education Ministry for offering programmes and curricula that enhance students’ sense of belonging to the nation and refine their characters, enabling them to be active contributors to the country’s progress and advancement.
Dr Juma thanked His Majesty for the patronage of education and support for outstanding students, as well as his commitment to investing in the education of Bahrain’s youth and equipping them with modern sciences and knowledge to serve the kingdom.

He highlighted pride in Shaikh Nasser’s inspiring leadership, noting that his successful visit to the Russian Federation demonstrates the exemplary role model he offers to Bahraini youth.
Dr Juma emphasised that the RHF’s mission and pioneering humanitarian work under Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, guided by His Majesty’s vision, is a source of pride and international recognition.
He added that the ministry’s strong partnership with the foundation focuses on serving humanity, developing minds and promoting knowledge.
Shaikh Ali thanked His Majesty for his commitment to humanitarian efforts and the development of RHF.

He also commended the support of Shaikh Nasser for the educational journey of the foundation’s students, and his continuous encouragement for them to achieve excellence and academic advancement.
Shaikh Ali also expressed his pride in the outstanding performance and distinction of the RHF’s students, congratulating them on their achievements.
Shaikh Nasser honoured the students who won the ‘Leadership and Excellence’ award, given to those who achieved the highest grades at the end of each educational stage (12 students), in addition to honouring a group of outstanding primary school students, both boys and girls, who achieved a grade of 95pc or above.
After the ceremony, students who achieved 95pc or above were honoured, as well as university graduates who received foundation scholarships.
Shaikh Ali also presented a commemorative gift to the Education Minister.
