WORK has begun on a sewage network which will provide services to more than 400 properties in Jeblat Hebshi and Al Qadam.
The Works Ministry said in a statement yesterday that the projects will cover properties in Jeblat Hebshi’s Blocks 431 and 435, as well as Al Qadam’s Block 477.
The project includes the construction of main sewage lines that will extend 83 metres using tunnelling technology, along with secondary sewer lines, 367 main manholes, 418 secondary manholes, a lifting station and roadwork.
“The project aims to achieve sustainable development and continuous improvement of the sanitation sector and to provide the best possible services in all areas of the kingdom,” the statement added.
“This comes in line with the urban and investment expansion underway in various governorates and aims to connect all types of properties, both residential and commercial, to the sewage network to ensure a healthy environment for all.”
The ministry also called on citizens and residents living in these areas to co-operate and adhere to the warning and guidance signs during the implementation period to ensure their safety.
