Around 375 workers from various labour camps took part in a summer awareness campaign, organised by the Interior Ministry’s Community Affairs Directorate in association with Indian Community Relief Fund (ICRF) Bahrain and the Indian Club.
The event aimed to raise awareness and reinforce the principles of safety and responsibility through effective partnerships.
Ministry officials held presentations on fraud and breach of trust, fire and safety and My Government App’ (Reporting Service).
Yoga Master K M Thomas held a laughter yoga session while violinist Nitin Raveendran entertained the audience.
ICRF Chairman V K Thomas thanked the ministry for giving them the opportunity to arrange the programme.
Indian Club President Cassius Perriera, Vice President Joseph Joy, ICRF advisers Dr Babu Ramachandran and Bhagvan Asarpota, Vice Chairman Pankaj Nallur and other volunteers attended.
A cake-cutting ceremony was also organised for workers celebrating their birthday this month.
All participants were provided with dinner packets.
