A Bahraini delegation, led by Second Deputy Speaker Ahmed Qarata participated in the 16th General Assembly of the Asean Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
It was held under the theme, ‘Peace Through Dialogue: The Parliamentary Path Forward’.
The delegation noted Bahrain’s progress in introducing legislation that promoted peaceful coexistence, and its continued contribution to global efforts for stability, development and moderation.
