The committee for the selection of the board of commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights has announced that it has received 112 applications.
Of them, 47 per cent were men and 53pc women, with 19pc holding doctoral degrees and 41pc holding master’s degrees.
The committee said it is currently finalising the proposed list of nominees to be submitted to His Majesty King Hamad for the issuance of a royal order appointing members for the 2025-2029 term.
