FOUR men have been arrested for allegedly selling alcoholic beverages in Manama, the Interior Ministry said yesterday (July 19).
A quantity of alcoholic substances was confiscated and legal proceedings are being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution, added a statement.
The anti-human trafficking and public morals protection directorate said an investigation was launched after receiving information about the illicit activity, leading to the identification and arrest of the suspects, identified only as Asians.
Citizens and residents are encouraged to confidentially report any suspicious activity to the Criminal Investigations Directorate by calling 17718888, or the main emergency line on 999.
