The Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry organised an awareness workshop for taxi drivers aimed at improving service quality and enhancing the tourism experience in Bahrain.
It was organised in co-ordination with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority and the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities.
The workshop is part of the ministry’s efforts to implement a comprehensive strategy for developing the taxi sector.
It focused on training drivers and raising their professional standards by introducing them to key tourist and cultural sites in the kingdom, in a manner that reflects Bahrain’s cultural identity and promotes a positive image to visitors.
