His Majesty King Hamad has issued a Royal Order appointing 50 judges and prosecutors to the Public Prosecution.
These included the appointment of three deputy judges to the Court of Cassation, four to the Court of Cassation, and a president to the High Civil Court of Appeal.
The order also included the appointment of nine judges to the High Civil Appeals Court, alongside five public prosecutors to the Public Prosecution with the rank of judge at the High Civil Appeals Court.
The order further includes the appointment of a judge as president of the Supreme Civil Court and two judges of category (A) to the Supreme Civil Court.
Twenty-one deputy public prosecutors were also appointed, in addition to three judges named as presidents of the Supreme Sharia and Sunni Courts.
Article 1 of the order stipulates the appointment of Judges Tariq Fathi, Hussam Sayed and Dr Hussain Al Bouali as deputies at the Court of Cassation.
Article 2 appoints Shaikh Dr Faisal Al Ghurair, Shaikh Baqer Isa Abdulla, Shaikh Abdul Hadi Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammed Al Madani as judges at the Court of Cassation
Article 3 appoints Judge Hussam Talat as president of the High Civil Appeals Court.
Article 4 names Jassim Al Jabin, Abdulla Abel, Ibrahim Jafan, Rashid Al Sahaf, Jassim Al Ajlan, Hussein Al Amr, Dr Nawaf Al Mannai, and Noura Al Madfa as judges at the High Civil Appeals Court.
It also appoints Moza Al Naar, Adnan Al Wadaei, Mohammed Salah Saleh, Adnan Fakhro, and Mohammed Al Maliki as attorneys general with the rank of judge at the High Civil Appeals Court, according to our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej yesterday.
