His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, directed that Al Dair Club player Husain Al Hayki receives medical treatment abroad, following his recent involvement in a serious traffic accident.
This initiative reflects His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad’s support for citizens, especially athletes, by ensuring their health and social needs are met in recognition of their contributions to Bahraini sport.
Al Hayki thanked HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his support, noting that it has helped him recover after the accident and demonstrates His Highness's commitment to sport and athletes.
Abdullah Ahmed Al Hayki, the player’s father, thanked HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for ensuring his son’s treatment, saying this support has reassured the family and will allow his son to receive the specialised care he needs in leading rehabilitation centres abroad.
