The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has launched its 2025 Summer Programme with wide participation from widows and orphans affiliated with it.
The programme includes a diverse series of 83 activities and initiatives covering educational, developmental and recreational fields, reflecting the foundation’s commitment to enhancing the skills of families and making the most of the summer break in a productive and meaningful way.
RHF secretary-general Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa affirmed that the foundation is keen to organise the summer programme annually as part of its comprehensive care for affiliated families.
He emphasised the importance of empowering individuals and providing a nurturing environment that fosters their potential and supports them psychologically and socially through high-quality activities and impactful community partnerships.
He also reiterated the foundation’s commitment to continuously develop its programmes to better serve its beneficiaries.
Meanwhile RHF charitable resources development director Mai Ahmed Al Saie stated that this year’s programme addresses the needs of different age groups.
“We made sure to diversify the programmes to include entertainment, education and empowerment, in line with the foundation’s vision of building an aware, capable and socially-integrated generation.
“We believe that every participant has the opportunity to experience a real and lasting positive change.”
The programme focuses on several key pillars, including:
* Empowerment – by preparing youth to enter the job market through vocational and life skills training,
* Skill discovery and development – through specialised workshops,
* Joy and well-being – by organising recreational and psychological support activities, and
* Community engagement – through strategic partnerships with government and private sector entities.
The programme features a variety of educational and training activities, including: ‘Intilaqah’, ‘Empower Yourself’ Vocational Programme, Youth Academy, language learning, public speaking and presentation skills, artificial intelligence and electrical maintenance, in addition to workshops in drawing, photography, music, karate, martial arts and financial literacy.
It also includes community-based and recreational activities such as virtual games, Shams, water skiing, cinema trips and participation in the Bahrain Summer Festival.
