Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa received outgoing US Ambassador Steven C Bondy.
He emphasised the long-standing ties and strategic partnership between Bahrain and the US, particularly in security co-operation.
He also noted the ongoing development of this partnership and the mutual commitment to exchanging expertise in areas of shared security interest.
Gen Shaikh Rashid commended the ambassador’s role in supporting bilateral relations across various domains, wishing him continued success in his future duties.
The meeting also reviewed ongoing co-operation programmes and their role in advancing joint efforts that serve the interests of both countries.
