CNBC enlisted the expertise of Bahraini Professor Hassan Ali Al Dailami, Head of the Vascular Surgery Department at the second-largest medical institution in Arizona, to analyse and explain the vascular condition of US President Donald Trump.
Speaking to Akhbar Al Khaleej, Professor Al Dailami said the channel’s producers contacted him after medical information about the president emerged, requesting that he appear live to analyse and interpret the condition. He noted that such appearances are reserved for highly specialised experts due to the sensitive and complex nature of on air medical analysis.
Al Dailami emphasised that he was committed to maintaining accuracy and professionalism, and took pride in representing Bahrain in the best possible way.
He revealed that Trump’s health issue involves weakened vein valves in the legs – a common vascular condition among older adults.
