The Academic Excellence Authority will be a national platform to support top-performing students and channel their skills in research, innovation and entrepreneurship, His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has said.
He said the authority will also contribute to enhancing Bahrain’s regional and global competitiveness as he attended its official launch yesterday.
SCYS secretary general Aymen Almoayyed, Youth Affairs Minister Rawan Tawfiqi and more than 100 outstanding students and graduates accepted into the authority attended the event.
