Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh received Lebanese Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Merna Khawly.
They reviewed co-operation, especially in parliamentary matters, to promote Bahrain-Lebanon relations and propel them towards broader horizons of co-ordination and integration.
Mr Al Saleh noted that the recent visit of Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun to Bahrain was a significant milestone.
He emphasised that His Majesty King Hamad’s decision to establish a permanent Bahraini diplomatic mission in Lebanon marks an important step towards enhancing co-operation, reinforcing the historical ties between the two countries at all levels.
