Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa has described the Bahrain-Saudi Arabia bond as a distinguished model built on solid foundations of co-operation and joint work across various domains.
The minister attributed the ongoing development and growth in these relations to the support of His Majesty King Hamad and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as he and Saudi Economy and Planning Minister Faisal bin Fadhel Al Ibrahim co-chaired a meeting of the Co-ordination Committee on Economy, Energy, Trade and Industry, held via video conference.
This committee is one of five formed under the Saudi-Bahraini Co-ordination Council.
He also emphasised the key role of the council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
He added that the council enhances strategic partnerships and drives bilateral co-operation across various sectors towards broader horizons, fulfilling the aspirations of both kingdoms and peoples.
Both sides reviewed key updates and progress on the initiatives and recommendations under the committee’s work plan.
They also discussed ongoing efforts by joint working groups in various areas aimed at meeting the council’s goals and enhancing economic co-operation and sustainable development between the two kingdoms.
These efforts align with their shared developmental and strategic visions and include discussions on several topics of mutual interest.
