Banks are playing a crucial role in supporting the kingdom’s development and economic growth, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has said.
They help in creating high-quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens and delivering benefits to all, HRH Prince Salman said during a meeting with KFH Group chairman Hamad Abdulmohsen Al Marzouq and members of the board at Gudaibiya Palace.
He highlighted the kingdom’s commitment to enhancing the competitiveness of its financial and banking sector.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underlined their vital role in advancing the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad.
He emphasised the importance of fostering a supportive legislative environment, enabling financial and banking institutions to further enhance their competitiveness and effectiveness in line with the sector’s ongoing developments.
Mr Al Marzouq expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s steadfast commitment to supporting the kingdom’s financial and banking sector and strengthening the role of banks in Bahrain.
He noted that these efforts contribute to realising the kingdom’s national goals and aspirations.
Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
