THE election of a new board of directors of the Bahrain Journalists’ Association will be held on August 16 during an ordinary general meeting at the Alumni Club.
The board of directors yesterday said in a statement that nominations for the chairmanship and membership of the board will open today and will close three days before the election date.
Aspiring contestants have been urged to submit a written application addressed to the chairman via the following email: bahrainijournalists@gmail.com.
The administrative and financial reports will also be published on the association’s website, bahrainijournalists.org, starting today.
