The post office in the Diplomatic Area has been permanently closed down, effective yesterday.
The Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry announced this in a statement posted on social media.
It added that all PO Boxes registered at the branch will be transferred to the Manama Post Office.
Customers can access services at any Bahrain Post branch.
There are now 10 post offices across Bahrain, located in Hidd, Sanabis, Adliya, Budaiya, Sitra, Sanad, Isa Town, Riffa, Hamad Town and Manama.
