Around 140 workers at a site in Sitra were offered water, juice, laban, oranges, apples and bananas as part of Thirst Quenchers 2025, the Indian Community Welfare Association – ICRF Bahrain’s annual summer awareness programme.
The seventh week of the initiative aligns with the Labour Ministry’s efforts to ensure a safe working environment during the sweltering three summer months.
This year the campaign is supported by the ministries of Interior and Labour, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the International Organisation of Migration, Bahrain. Present were officials and volunteers, as well as members from the Bohra community.
