Four female candidates submitted their nominations for elections to Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) board of directors for the 2025-2027 term during the first two days.
They are Hind Ahmed Karam and Rasha Al Ebrahim from the Bahrain News Agency, Mariam Anwar Ahmed from the Bahrain TV News Centre, and Marwa Khamis Ibrahim Al Akrawi.
The BJA announced on Friday the opening of nominations for the elections of the president and board members.
Interested candidates are required to submit a formal application to the chairman of the board, in accordance with the association’s bylaws, via the following email: bahrainijournalists@gmail.com.
The nominations will close three days before the general assembly meeting scheduled for August 16, at the Alumni Club in Adliya.
