Editor-in-Chief of Al Ayam newspaper and president of Bahrain Journalists Association Isa Al Shaiji has officially submitted a letter to the BJA board of directors confirming his candidacy for the presidency for the upcoming term.
The BJA’s general assembly is scheduled to convene at the Alumni Club on August 16.
Mr Al Shaiji expressed hope of earning the continued trust of BJA members in the upcoming term to further advance the interests of Bahrain’s media and journalism community.
