THE importance of the role of private sector and civil society institutions in supporting the healthcare sector through initiatives and contributions that enhance medical infrastructure has been underlined by a top health official.
This is in line with national efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare services, Government Hospitals chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahma pointed out during a meeting with delegations from the Bahrain Cancer Society and Ibn Khuldoon National School (IKNS).
She commended their support in providing a modern dissection station for medical laboratories.
She noted that this reflects the community’s contribution to national efforts aimed at enhancing diagnostic services and improving the efficiency of medical laboratories.
The new dissection station features advanced technologies that significantly accelerate autopsy procedures and enhance the accuracy of laboratory tests, thereby contributing to improved outcomes and enabling medical staff to perform their duties more efficiently and in accordance with modern medical standards.
