His Majesty King Hamad received at Sakhir Palace Dr Shaikh Abdullatif Mahmood Al Mahmood, accompanied by his son Mohammed Abdullatif Al Mahmood.
Dr Al Mahmood had the honour of presenting His Majesty with two books: the first titled Islamic Civilisation and Social Coexistence, and the second titled Islamic Values: The Secret of Muslim Progress, Past and Present.
Mohammed Abdullatif also had the honour of presenting His Majesty with a book titled Informing the People of Bahrain about the Dispute between the Two Judges.
The King thanked Dr Al Mahmood and his son for these publications, commending their contributions in the literary and intellectual domains, and wished them continued success.
His Majesty also emphasised Bahrain’s pride in its deep-rooted history of peaceful coexistence and tolerance among all religions.
