The Government Hospitals will host a major medical conference in Bahrain next month.
The Bahrain Colorectal Surgery Conference is to be held on September 25 and 26 in co-operation with Education Plus.
Conference chairperson and consultant in general and colorectal surgery Dr Israa Sami said the event aims to promote continuous medical education and enhance the quality of healthcare services in Bahrain.
She noted that the programme will address recent advances in colorectal surgery, including minimal invasive techniques, treatments for colorectal cancers, management of inflammatory bowel diseases and the role of precision surgery in maintaining patients’ quality of life.
Dr Sami added that selected research papers and presentations will highlight new innovations and clinical trials, with participation from leading speakers from Bahrain and abroad, offering a platform to exchange expertise and discuss global best practices.
