Supreme Council for Women secretary-general Lulwa Al Awadhi said the SCW has implemented a series of plans to boost women’s economic participation, including support for women in the handicrafts sector.
She spoke during a ceremony honouring 15 Bahraini craftswomen who took part in the “Professor Thajba Al Mansoori Award for Supporting Women in the Handicrafts Sector,” held yesterday by the Bahrain Women’s Union, our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej reported.
