The Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA) has condemned the Israeli forces’ targeting of journalists in Gaza, which resulted in the killing of five Palestinian journalists and photographers yesterday, bringing the total number of journalist martyrs in Gaza to 237.
In a statement, the BJA expressed its solidarity with all journalists carrying out their duty on the frontline to report the truth to the world.
The association called for journalists to be able to carry out their work in a safe environment where their safety is fully protected.
It also reiterated its unwavering support for the journalists amid the violations and attacks they face.
The BJA offered its sincere condolences and sympathy to the brothers and colleagues at the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate.
