The new building of Abdullah Bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies will be inaugurated tomorrow.
The ceremony will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Education Minister and chairman of the board of trustees of the college Dr Mohammed Mubarak Juma affirmed that the educational process in the kingdom continues to receive the interest of His Majesty King Hamad and the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Dr Juma noted that the inauguration of the new building represents a major step in the college’s mission to prepare qualified graduates who can strengthen Arab and Islamic identity, promote freedom, cultural diversity, and the values of citizenship and belonging.
The minister added that these aims are pursued in accordance with Islamic Sharia and its values from the Holy Quran and Sunnah, while equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies in Sharia sciences, related fields, preaching, guidance, public speaking, education, and legal procedures.
