The Sheraton Bahrain Hotel has announced the appointment of Jurrien Bongers as its new general manager, marking a new chapter for the premium urban destination.
Mr Bongers brings a wealth of global hospitality experience and a dynamic leadership style to his new role. He joins the Sheraton Bahrain from the JW Marriott Cairo. His distinguished career includes serving as the cluster general manager for the Sheraton Grand Hotel Pudong and Four Points by Sheraton Pudong in Shanghai. He has also held leadership positions at several other prestigious hotels, including the JW Marriott Beijing, Renaissance Beijing Capital, and JW Marriott Hangzhou.
He began his career as general manager at Le Meridien Hangzhou after serving as the area director of operations in China.
Known for his passion for hospitality and commitment to excellence, Mr Bongers aims to enhance guest experiences, inspire the hotel’s team, and reinforce the Sheraton Bahrain’s reputation as a premier venue for meetings, events, and exceptional culinary experiences.
