The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has opened applications for its first graduate development programme, GP15, the regulator announced yesterday.
The programme is part of the CBB’s strategy to empower Bahraini youth and build a skilled workforce for the financial services sector.
The inaugural programme will select 15 recent Bahraini university graduates with a bachelor’s degree in any field and a minimum GPA of 3.25. Candidates will be chosen through an aptitude test and interviews.
Selected graduates will take part in a six-month internship, where they will work across different CBB departments and engage in practical simulations. They will also attend workshops and site visits to enhance their financial literacy, analytical skills, and understanding of banking strategies.
CBB’s director of human resources and programme manager Fatema Mohamed Ali said the initiative reflects the bank’s “dedication to investing in national talent and preparing future leaders who will drive industry growth and innovation.”
Applications for the GP15 programme will remain open till August 31 via the CBB’s website.
