Export Bahrain has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with AstroLabs to help Bahraini businesses expand into Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
The partnership will provide Bahrain-based companies with market entry support, business development services, and training to boost their regional competitiveness. The agreement also includes access to AstroLabs’ network and a commitment to organising workshops and facilitating participation in industry events.
Export Bahrain executive director of operations Fatima Rostam said the collaboration is a key part of the organisation’s strategy to help local businesses compete internationally.
“Through our collaboration with AstroLabs, we are equipping these enterprises with the tools, expertise, and access needed for sustainable expansion into Saudi Arabia and the UAE,” Ms Rostam added.
According to AstroLabs chief strategy officer Joe Kobrianos the partnership offers Bahraini companies a “clear path into Saudi, backed by AstroLabs’ on-the-ground expertise.” He added that the collaboration reinforces a shared vision of creating stronger regional corridors and unlocking new growth opportunities.
The initiative aligns with additional support programmes for which companies may be eligible through Tamkeen.
