The General Directorate of Civil Defence extinguished a minor fire at the Juvenile Reformation and Rehabilitation Centre in Dry Dock on Tuesday.
First aid was provided at the site and two inmates were transferred to hospital after mild smoke inhalation. Their health condition has been confirmed to be stable.
Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire, while the necessary legal procedures are being taken.
