His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the deep-rooted and longstanding relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, noting that these relations continue to flourish through close cooperation across various sectors, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Shaikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait.
His Royal Highness emphasised that this enduring partnership lays the groundwork for promising future opportunities and shared prosperity.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad also commended the Ambassador’s efforts in strengthening bilateral ties, wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.
The Ambassador of Kuwait conveyed the greetings of Shaikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of Kuwait, and Shaikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, and his greetings to HM the King.
In return, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty the King, as well as his own, to Shaikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and to Shaikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait.
Regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were also discussed during the meeting.
For his part, Shaikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s unwavering commitment to reinforcing Bahrain–Kuwait relations and conveyed his best wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister’s Court, and Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
