His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday received several of the kingdom’s newly appointed ambassadors – Dr Mohammed Ali Behzad (Ambassador to Belgium); Khalil Yaqoub Al Khayyat (Ambassador to Thailand); and Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees (Ambassador to Germany).
He underscored Bahrain’s steadfast commitment to promoting the values of tolerance and advancing diplomatic relations built on trust and mutual respect. “This approach, guided by the vision of His Majesty King Hamad, continues to reinforce Bahrain’s global standing as a vital contributor to regional and international peace and stability,” he said.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister also outlined the kingdom’s dedication to strengthening co-operation and co-ordination with partner countries across a wide range of diverse sectors.
In this regard, he highlighted the pivotal role of Bahrain’s diplomatic missions in bolstering bilateral ties, advancing shared interests, and showcasing its accomplishments across regional and global platforms.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister extended his congratulations to the ambassadors on their appointments and wished them success in fulfilling their diplomatic responsibilities.
The ambassadors expressed their sincere gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s unwavering support for the kingdom’s diplomatic efforts. They affirmed their resolve to strengthen Bahrain’s international partnerships and enhance its diplomatic presence in pursuit of shared aspirations.
Also present at the meeting were Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials.
