His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday received outgoing Kuwaiti Ambassador Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah.
He highlighted deep-rooted and longstanding relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, noting that these relations continue to flourish through close co-operation across various sectors, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and Amir Shaikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
He emphasised that this enduring partnership lays the groundwork for promising future opportunities and shared prosperity.
HRH Prince Salman also commended the ambassador’s efforts in strengthening bilateral ties, wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Amir and Crown Prince Shaikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, and his greetings to the King.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty, as well as his own, to Shaikh Mishal and Shaikh Sabah.
Regional and international developments, as well as issues of common interest, were also discussed during the meeting.
Shaikh Thamer expressed his appreciation for HRH Prince Salman’s unwavering commitment to reinforcing Bahrain-Kuwait relations and conveyed his best wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by Prime Minister’s Court Minister Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
