Foreign Minister and National Human Rights Committee chairman Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani has commended the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) for its achievements over 24 years in institutional work and effective partnerships that have advanced the rights of Bahraini women and strengthened their leadership in political, diplomatic, and economic domains, under the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad.
The minister extended congratulations to His Majesty; His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister; and to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of the King and SCW president, on the 24th anniversary of the council’s establishment. Dr Al Zayani expressed appreciation for the SCW’s role under the leadership of HRH Princess Sabeeka in enhancing the distinguished status of Bahraini women.
HRH Princess Sabeeka yesterday received cables of congratulations from Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs chairman Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Institute of Public Administration director general and SCW member Dr Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, High Urban Planning Committee vice-chairman Shaikh Salman bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and senior officials.
