Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayyed met Bahrain Sickle Cell Society chairman Zakariya Al Kadhem and members of its board of directors, in the presence of Supreme Council for Health secretary-general Dr Ibrahim Al Nawakhda.
She underlined the society’s role as an active community partner in supporting efforts to sustain and enhance healthcare, ensuring efficiency and quality that meet national aspirations.
Mr Al Kadhem expressed appreciation for the ministry’s continued support and its efforts to advance healthcare services in Bahrain.
