Scientific and technical developments in veterinary medicine will be under the spotlight when industry experts and government representatives gather for a major conference and exhibition in Bahrain next month.
The first Bahrain Veterinary Medicine Forum and Exhibition has been organised by the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry in co-operation with Checklist Events, Trade and Advisories.
It will be held on September 25 and 26.
Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak said the forum and exhibition will serve as a scientific and cultural platform, bringing together veterinarians, researchers, experts, government representatives, veterinary industries, livestock producers, hospitals, clinics and the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH)
The event will provide opportunities to exchange knowledge and expertise from Bahrain, the GCC and worldwide, and to learn about the latest practices and innovations in veterinary medicine.
The minister noted that the forum will provide solutions to health and environmental challenges that strengthen animal wealth through research, prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
He emphasised that the event represents an opportunity to expand partnerships with local and international research institutions and support animal vaccination and disease prevention programmes, enhancing Bahrain’s role as a regional hub for veterinary and scientific investment while supporting the goals of sustainable development.
The forum will connect government and private institutions, highlight national, GCC and international expertise, and showcase veterinary knowledge and professional skills.
An accompanying exhibition will feature veterinary companies, factories, hospitals, clinics and pet centres, which will present latest technologies, services and products, opening prospects for investment and broader partnerships in the sector.
