A 10-year-old girl died tragically in a house fire in Saar last night, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Firemen were able to extinguish the fire and the National Ambulance rushed to the scene.
Unfortunately despite their best efforts, the girl died due to smoke suffocation.
Sources confirmed that the girl was Bahraini.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire.
