Deputy King His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa has directed education authorities to hold a Parent Induction Day across public schools to brief parents and guardians on the new academic year.
The directives were issued when the Deputy King chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.
He directed the Education Ministry to ensure the necessary measures are in place to provide a supportive environment that fosters academic excellence in public schools.
Thousands of primary, intermediate and secondary students in government schools will return to their classes on September 3, as the 2025-2026 academic year starts.
The Education Ministry has completed reviewing facilities at educational institutions including maintenance work and installing energy-efficient air conditioners in classrooms.
Other government entities have also launched several initiatives to enhance the quality of education and the life of students in the upcoming academic year.
