THE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has concluded its sponsorship of Youth City 2030, a programme organised by the Youth and Sports Affairs Ministry to empower young Bahrainis.
The TRA said its support for the initiative reflected a commitment to equipping young people with essential skills in technology, media, and creativity.
As part of its sponsorship, the TRA backed several training programmes designed to boost the digital and creative skills of participants. These programmes offered opportunities for young people to gain practical knowledge and produce content that contributed to their personal and professional growth.
“Empowering people to fully participate in the digital economy is a key priority for the TRA,” said TRA general director Philip Marnick. “We are proud to provide young Bahrainis with opportunities to develop their creativity, digital skills, and enhance their confidence.”
The TRA’s communications manager Taiba AlBinali added that the outcomes from the courses demonstrated the potential of Bahrain’s youth.
Youth City 2030 is a prominent youth development platform that offers programmes focused on innovation, leadership, and practical skills. The TRA’s continued involvement highlights its role as a key supporter of digital transformation and youth empowerment in the country.
