A 42-year-old man has been accused of impersonating a police officer and stealing from mobile shops in the Northern Governorate.
Authorities received reports of thefts and launched an investigation, following which the suspect was identified and arrested, the Interior Ministry said on X last night.
The man has been allegedly involved in similar cases in other governorates.
Legal steps have been taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
