Bahrain Chamber chairman Sameer Nass has underscored the pivotal role of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in empowering the chamber as a key partner in development.
“HRH Prince Salman is the architect of modern economic policies that have reshaped the national economy towards diversification and sustainability,” he affirmed during a visit by Akhbar Al Khaleej Editor-in-Chief Anwar Abdulrahman to the chamber’s headquarters, in the presence of first vice-chairman Khalid Najibi.
“In recent years, Bahrain has made remarkable progress in strengthening public-private partnership through closer co-ordination and integration between the government and private sector institutions across various economic and developmental fields,” he noted.
“This strategic support was clearly reflected in the chamber’s success in achieving many developmental goals and programmes during its 29th and 30th sessions, particularly in enhancing competitiveness, stimulating the business environment and encouraging investment in line with the requirements of the next phase of the kingdom’s economic march,” he added.
“The chamber today represents a cornerstone of the national economy, serving as the link between the private sector and the government. It plays a vital role in supporting and developing the economy and representing the interests of the private sector,” Mr Nass said.
Mr Nass called on Akhbar Al Khaleej to shed light on the chamber’s achievements in recent years through the launch of economic initiatives that have supported the private sector’s role and enhanced its contribution to the national economy.
