A total of 778 illegal fishing traps (gargoor) and eight prohibited nets were seized by the Coastguard last month.
This comes as part of efforts to protect the marine environment, the Interior Ministry said on X.
Officials vowed to continue inspection campaigns aimed at reducing marine violations. Fishermen have been urged to comply with the laws and regulations.
