His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has expressed his pride in the historic ties between Bahrain and Egypt.
HRH Prince Salman made the statement as he arrived in Egypt on an official visit.
During the visit, he will meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi and several senior officials to explore avenues for advancing the deep-rooted bilateral relationship and expanding co-operation and strategic partnerships across key sectors in line with shared goals and interests.
Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was received by Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Madbouly and several senior officials.
He highlighted strong partnership and the diverse multi-sectoral collaboration with Egypt.
This visit, he noted, reflects the kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations, with the support of His Majesty King Hamad and President Al Sisi.
HRH Prince Salman commended the progress and development achieved by Egypt under the leadership of President Al Sisi.
He also conveyed his support for Egypt’s honourable stances and its pivotal role in supporting Arab causes and advancing joint Arab efforts to achieve mutual development aspirations.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was accompanied by an official delegation, which included Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani, Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Sustainable Development Minister and Bahrain Economic Development Board chief executive officer Noor Al Khulaif, Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Bahrain Ambassador to Egypt Fouzia Zainal, and other senior officials.
