His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has highlighted the enduring relationship and strategic partnership between Bahrain and Egypt.
HRH Prince Salman held wide-ranging talks on bilateral co-operation during a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, as part of his official visit to Egypt yesterday.
He emphasised the growth of multi-sectoral collaboration, supported by His Majesty King Hamad and President Al Sisi to achieve shared aspirations and deliver benefits for both countries.
He conveyed the King’s greetings to the Egyptian President and wishes for further progress and prosperity to Egypt.
President Al Sisi extended his greetings to His Majesty and wishes for further growth and prosperity to Bahrain.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the strong bonds between Bahrain and Egypt, reinforced through mutual agreements and strategic partnerships.
He also underscored the importance of building on co-operation and maximising opportunities to achieve shared goals.
He pointed out Egypt’s pivotal role in promoting regional security and stability, advancing joint Arab efforts, and championing causes that are central to the Arab nations and its support of Bahrain.
He praised Egypt’s accomplishments under the leadership of President Al Sisi, wishing Egypt further progress and success.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance of the agreements and announcements during this visit that would create more opportunities for co-operation and strengthen partnerships.
During the meeting, avenues to enhance bilateral co-operation, the latest regional and international developments, and topics of common interest were discussed.
Both sides affirmed their support for all efforts aimed at promoting international peace and stability.
HRH Prince Salman reiterated the mutual commitment to supporting the Palestinian cause, aimed at achieving a just and lasting solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
He also emphasised the importance of de-escalation, the protection of civilians, and the release of hostages and detainees, as well as the continuation of humanitarian aid delivery to Gaza and supporting reconstruction efforts.
He highlighted Egypt’s significant humanitarian role, alongside allied countries.
