Al Sarea, owned by His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Supreme Council for Youth and Sport chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, claimed first place in the second round of the Al Haqaiq category cup at the Saudi Crown Prince Camel Festival 2025.
Al Sarea recorded the best time while Sayaf clinched second place in the same 2km round.
Al Sarea’s victory represents a new milestone for Bahraini camels that continue to confirm their outstanding presence in regional competitions thanks to the steadfast support given by the leadership to this heritage sport.
The seventh annual edition of the festival, organised by the Saudi Camel Federation, began on Wednesday at the historic Taif field with the participation of more than 100,000 camels vying for total prizes exceeding 50 million riyals, which reflects the great importance accorded to the festival since its inception in 2018.
