His Majesty King Hamad has commended the Bahraini people for their unity.
This is a result of their awareness and sense of belonging, which have preserved our national achievements, the King said after the Friday prayers at Safriya Palace Mosque yesterday marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
He expressed appreciation for Bahrain’s blessings, especially security and stability, describing them as the foundation of progress.
The King congratulated everyone and recalled the Prophet’s message of mercy, fraternity and solidarity. He placed a strong emphasis on rejecting division, upholding good morals, and promoting tolerance and peace.
His Majesty was joined at the prayers by his sons, members of the Royal Family and senior officials.
The Friday sermon was delivered by Sunni Endowments Council chairman Dr Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri.
He spoke about the life of the Prophet, and wished the kingdom continued security, prosperity and stability under the leadership of His Majesty.
