Fresh fruit and beverages were distributed to around 500 labourers at a work site in East Hidd in the 12th week of Thirst Quenchers 2025 campaign organised by the Indian Community Welfare Association.
Volunteers distributed water, juice, laban, orange, apple and banana to the workers.
This year’s initiative is being supported by the Interior Ministry, Labour Ministry, Labour Market Regulatory Authority and the International Organisation for Migration.
Labour Ministry occupational safety and health inspection head Hasan Alaradi was chief guest at the event.
